Leader: Arise! Shine! God with us, God revealed in us, you have sent your Light to reveal your Way in this New Year.
People: O Christ, here comes everybody to soak in your light and bask in your glow.
Leader: Arise! Shine! Your glory has risen upon us.
People: We are the wise and ignorant, kings and beggars, CEO’s and cowboys. We are from Alaska, the South, the Midwest, the East, from the Philippines, Europe, Africa, from everywhere.
Leader: Arise! Shine! God’s light penetrates the darkness that covers the world.
People: Shine your soft light on the darkness inside us. Fill our minds and hearts with your grace. Be the gift that we give.
Leader: Arise! Shine! Come to God's light and to the brightness of God's dawn.
